The DOPWIC received forty-one (41) applications from twenty-six (26) applicants for funding through the Round 2022-2023 Ohio Public Works Commission (OPWC) State Infrastructure Programs. One application was deemed ineligible for funds by OPWC. The forty (40) projects eligible for funding requested a total of $54,062,465.
District One has approximately $29,533,000 in OPWC funding, available through the State Capital Improvement Program, Revolving Loan Program, and the Local Transportation Improvement Program in Round 2022-2023. This year the projects submitted include the following:
- Four (4) Bridge/Culvert Projects
- Twenty-four (24) Road Projects
- Nine (9) Wastewater Projects
- Three (3) Water Supply Projects
Eleven (11) applications are from Small Government Communities. Projects from these communities not recommended by the DOPWIC for funding may be forwarded to the District One Small Government Subcommittee for selection to participate in the statewide Small Government Program.
