The Northeast Ohio First Suburbs Consortium contracted with County Planning to examine eight potential developments sites whose reuse could have lasting impacts on Cuyahoga County communities.
County Planning prepared a summary of the current land use, employment, and market conditions for each site – the first step towards marketing and redeveloping the sites.
Development Site Profiles | ||
---|---|---|
Southgate Shopping Center Maple Heights | 81 acres | |
The Shoppes at Parma Parma | 64.5 acres | |
Severance Town Center Cleveland Heights | 57 acres | |

Meadowbrook Shopping Center Bedford | 40.8 acres | |
American Greetings Site Brooklyn | 181.3 acres | |

Euclid Square Mall Euclid | 70.9 acres |
The site profiles include:
- A narrative overview of each site
- A description of access to utilities and transportation
- Data on job and population characteristics located within 15, 30, and 60-minute drives
- Maps that display the ownership, acreage, and zoning for each site
While the data displayed here was collected and graphed by County Planning, the work of redeveloping these sites requires the collective efforts of County Planning, local governments, regional economic development agencies, and others.
