The Bay Village Master Plan brought together the community to create a plan to strengthen neighborhoods, connect the community, and reimagine the Village Center.
Bay Village City Council adopted the Bay Village Master Plan on June 26, 2017.
The City of Bay Village worked with County Planning to update its previous 1999 Master Plan. The Master Plan process began in 2015 with the completion of the Bay Village Community Survey. County Planning relied heavily on the guidance of a Project Team of City staff, local leaders, and a Steering Committee of residents and business owners. This resulted in a Master Plan that truly reflected the Community’s desired future.
The Master Plan focused on enhancing local connectivity. This is especially seen in the vision for a multi-modal trail along Wolf Road. The Plan also provided a forward-thinking reinvention of the Village Center which included new retail, residential, and mixed-use development, with a new planned library and Village Green.
This presentation was made to Bay Village City Council on April 3, 2017. It is also available for downloading.
This Master Plan will help guide Bay Village through the next 10 years and help the City to enhance its already high quality of life.
