MINUTES OF THE CUYAHOGA COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION

DECEMBER 13, 2018

CALL TO ORDER
The meeting of the Cuyahoga County Planning Commission (County Planning) was called to order by Chair Kenneth Surratt and the roll call showed a quorum was present.

MINUTES
On a motion by Mayor Brennan, seconded by Mayor Bobst, the minutes of the November 8, 2018 meeting were duly adopted by unanimous vote.

RESOLUTIONS
On a motion by Mayor DiCicco, seconded by Mayor Byrne, Resolution 181213-A, approval of an MOU with the Department of Sustainability, was duly adopted by unanimous vote.

On a motion by Councilperson Brown, seconded by Mayor Procuk, Resolution 181213-B was amended to extend the term of the Agreement through December 31, 2019, was duly changed by unanimous vote.

On a motion by Councilperson Brown, seconded by Mayor DiCicco, Resolution 181213-C, approval of the amended Amendment with the Department of Public Safety and Justice Services was duly adopted by unanimous vote.

CHAIR’S REPORT
The Chair did not have a report for this meeting.

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR’S REPORT
The Executive Director did not have a report for this meeting.

ANNUAL FINANCIAL REPORT
Ms. Jennifer Karaffa, Fiscal Officer for the Cuyahoga County Planning Commission, gave the yearly report for 2018 and budget for 2019.

ADJOURNMENT
Mayor Bobst moved to adjourn the meeting, the motion was seconded by Mayor Brennan and was duly agreed by unanimous vote.

The next meeting to be held will be February 14, 2019.

SOLID WASTE POLICY COMMITTEE MEETING

CALL TO ORDER
The meeting of the Solid Waste Policy Committee was called to order by Mr. Surratt.  Mr. DeMuth and Mr. Mathias each joined the meeting as a member of the Solid Waste Policy Committee.

BUSINESS
On a motion by Mayor Bobst, seconded by Mr. Demuth, Resolution 181213, declaring the Adoption of the Amended Cuyahoga County Solid Waste Management Plan for the Cuyahoga County Solid Waste Management District, was duly adopted by unanimous vote.

Presentation by Sergeant Andy Ezzo from the City of Cleveland Police Department Environmental Crimes Task Force.

ADJOURNMENT
Mayor Brennan motioned to adjourn the meeting, the motion was seconded by Councilperson Brown and was duly agreed by unanimous vote.
