MINUTES OF THE CUYAHOGA COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION

April 14, 2016

CALL TO ORDER
The meeting of the Cuyahoga County Planning Commission was called to order by Mr. Kelly with a quorum present.

MINUTES
On a motion by Mayor Patton, seconded by Councilperson Brown, the minutes of the March 10, 2016 meeting were unanimously approved.

RESOLUTIONS – CONTRACTS OVER $5,000.00
On a motion by Mayor Byrne, seconded by Mayor Patton, Resolution No.160414-A, approving an Administrative Agreement with the Ohio Public Works Commission, was unanimously approved.

RESOLUTIONS – CONTRACTS UNDER $5,000.00
On a motion by Mayor Sellers, seconded by Councilperson Brown, Resolution No. 160414-B, approving a $2,500.00 contract with Go Media, Inc. to add additional functionality to the Cuyahoga County Planning Commission website, was unanimously approved.

On a motion by Mayor Patton, seconded by Mayor Sellers, Resolution No. 160414-C, approving a contract with the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District to monitor the Green Bulkhead habitat project, was unanimously approved.

Olmsted Township Trustee Jeanine Kress spoke to the Commission about the Township’s current development issues to address the concerns previously brought up by the Commission members regarding recent subdivision requests.

On a motion by Mayor Sellers, seconded by Mayor Byrne, Resolution No. 160414-D conditionally approving the redesigned Preliminary Plat of Gates Village with the Woodgate Farms PRD located in Olmsted Township, was approved.  Mayor Kleem opposed.

CHAIR’S REPORT
Mr. Kelly welcomed Mayor Kleem as a new board member.

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR’S REPORT
Mr. Coyne reported that the Cuyahoga County Planning Commission website had gone live that morning and the new website address was “countyplanning.us.”

OLD BUSINESS
Mr. Kelly announced that Resolution No. 160310-B, the Final Plat for Galway Bay Subdivision (Phase 2) located in Olmsted Township, continued to be tabled until the next meeting.

NEW BUSINESS
Mr. Kelly announced that the next meeting will be held on June 9, 2016 at 2:00p.m. in Room 4-407.

On a motion by Mayor Sellers, seconded by Councilperson Brown, the meeting was adjourned.
