MINUTES OF THE CUYAHOGA COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION SPECIAL MEETING

June 24, 2020

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Cuyahoga County Administration Building was closed to the public at the time of the meeting. CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL

The meeting of the Cuyahoga County Planning Commission (County Planning) was called to order by Chairperson, Mr. Michael Dever at 2:04 p.m. and the roll call showed a quorum was present.

EXECUTIVE SESSION- R.C. 121.22 (G) (1). APPOINTMENT OF AN INTERIM DIRECTOR FOR THE CUYAHOGA COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION

On a motion by Mr. Dever, seconded by Mayor Bobst, entering executive session for the appointment of an interim director for the Cuyahoga Planning Commission was approved by unanimous vote.

OUT OF EXECUTIVE SESSION

On a motion by Mr. Dever, seconded by Councilperson Simon, exiting executive session was approved by unanimous vote.

RESOLUTION 200624-A

On a motion by Mr. Dever, seconded by Councilperson Simon, to insert Patrick Hewitt in the resolution to act as Interim Executive Director for the Cuyahoga County Planning Commission with compensation in accordance to the Bylaws section 5.12, the temporary work level at the lowest step of pay grade level 21 at $104,228.80, was duly adopted by unanimous vote.

Mr. Dever reported that the Executive Director position has been posted to various websites in the expectation of receiving candidates to review for the position of new Executive Director with the intention to hire by fall 2020.

On a motion by Councilperson Simon, seconded by Mr. Dever the meeting was adjourned at 2:34 p.m. with unanimous vote.
