Learn to use the County Greenprint tools

2017 is Cleveland’s year of Vibrant Green Space, and County Planning is partnering with the Cuyahoga County Public Library and Cleveland Public Library to offer County Greenprint training sessions.

The County Greenprint is a great tool to assist nature and sustainability enthusiasts, as well as planners, service directors, city councilpersons, and interested citizens in planning for and protecting our green spaces. The Cuyahoga County Greenprint can help support tree planting projects, riparian setback initiatives, and other conservation strategies which enhance our natural quality of life.

Please join us for a hands-on training session. Participants will learn how to use the mapping tool, access best practices, and create basic customized maps. The sessions are free and open to all, but registration is required.

In addition, County Planning created a video tutorial covering the basics of using the Greenprint. If you’re planning to attend a training session, we recommend that you prepare by watching this training video as an introduction and orientation for the class.
