Call for Natural Resource Assistance Council Nominations
The District One Natural Resources Assistance Council (NRAC) is a working committee responsible for recommending projects for funds made available to Cuyahoga County through the Ohio Public Works Commission Clean Ohio Green Space Conservation Program.
The District One Public Works Integrating Committee (DOPWIC) is responsible for appointing persons to the Cuyahoga County Natural Resources Assistance Council (NRAC). The District One Public Works Integrating Committee (DOPWIC) is seeking nominations for the District One NRAC, as defined in Section 164.21 (A) of the Ohio Revised Code. Each position serves a three (3) year term. The upcoming term runs from 10/15/2023 through 10/14/2026. Members of District NRACs volunteer their services and are not compensated.
District One has an opening for one (1) Agricultural Representative. Anyone interested in being considered for the NRAC must represent an agency that falls within the following groups:
- A statewide organization representing agriculture, and organization representing forestry interests, the department of agriculture, or the United States department of agriculture
The DOPWIC is scheduled to meet on September 26, 2023, and will be approving NRAC nominations. Please submit a nomination form, a letter of nomination from a recognized entity, and a statement of the nominee’s background and qualifications no later than Monday, September 11, 2023.
