The Lorain Road Business District Revitalization Plan is a land use and economic development plan for Lorain Road as it travels through the City of Fairview Park. This plan establishes a vision for the future of Lorain Road, identifies the community's desired development types, and key strategies to guide development along the corridor.

The Lorain Road Business District Revitalization Plan and its appendices were adopted by Fairview Park City Council on June 3, 2024.
Lorain Road is centrally important to the regional connectivity, economic vitality, and overall strength of the City of Fairview Park. The Lorain Road Business District Revitalization Plan addresses four key areas integral to the corridor: Branding & Identity, Infrastructure & Transportation, Business & Economic Development, and Land Use & Zoning. The Plan provides "Development Strategies" to address corridor wide development policies as well as targeted "Preferred Development Outcomes" identifying the types of development the community desires along Lorain Road. The Plan also outlines a strategy for implementation and examples of best practices in action.
